Adele Laurie Blue Adkins was born on May 5, 1988, in Tottenham, London, and rose to fame with her soulful, emotive voice and emotionally charged songs. She graduated from the BRIT School for Performing Arts and released her debut album, 19, in 2008, which introduced her to the world. Her second album, 21 (2011), became one of the best-selling records in history, and her subsequent albums 25 (2015) and 30 (2021) have continued her commercial and critical success, earning her numerous awards, including multiple Grammys.
